About Amanda Joy

Born from nature ~ shaped by art

Amanda Joy is a textile and surface pattern designer living in the Southern Highlands of NSW, on Gundungurra land. Her art is influenced by Australian country living, nature, and her passion for the classical Victorian era style of art. Amanda creates custom designer fabrics for upholstery, curtains and interiors.

She has also worked on multiple 5 Star Hotel commercial projects;  including Sea World Resort Gold Coast.

Amanda is collaborating with the William Morris Society in the UK, to bring a unique range of cushion covers and textiles.

Amanda has been creating unique and professional art and illustrations for textiles since 2014, after graduating from the International School of Colour and Design as an award winning student.

Amanda uses paint, pencil and digital mediums to turn her bespoke illustrations into textile designs for fabrics used in upholstery & interiors,  as well as quilting and crafting. She also has licensed her work for stationery, gift wrap and gift cards.
